Helping Recovering Addicts Across the Community in Manchester and Bolton with Talking Therapy  

Dealing with addictions can be an important part of the journey to independent living for some of our tenants, residents and service users and Adullam works with other organisations to help with this.

Yesterday, Alcohol & Addiction Counsellor & Therapist Dan, from Talk2BigDan, visited our project in Manchester. Over lunch he shared his experiences with the tenants who were keen to hear about his journey.

Dan is working across Adullam’s projects in Bolton and the North of England on an on-going basis, and on ‘Time to Talk Day’ last week he spent time in three of our locations.

Dan is pictured in Manchester & Bolton where residents are always really keen to speak with him and tell him of the progress they have made since his last visit.

As part of his work with Adullam, Dan also helps  by hosting a ladies group walking session. As part of the therapy the participants can talk in a safe and relaxed environment amongst themselves and also with Dan, helping them on their road to wellness and recovery.
