About Me
At Talk2BigDan, I believe in a fresh and straightforward approach in helping others overcome their alcohol and drug addictions. Facing these issues head on goes hand-in-hand with improving mental health and relationship problems; and these are also areas of life that I can help you with. I lived through all these troubles via first-hand experience, and as a result I made the necessary changes which saved my life. My experiences have given me the knowledge and tools to help others save their lives too. Everyone has the capability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. My philosophy is rooted in the belief and actual fact, that talking openly to another person who has been through the hell you are going through right now is the first step along the right path to complete recovery. Enabling you to live a normal, happy, addiction and anxiety free life forever !

WOW !! A Day to Remember at Adullam Northwest Excellence and Inclusion Event
Talk2BigDan Makes an Appearance and Gives a Fantastic Speech at Major Event
Tuesday 23rd September was one of those days that really sticks with you. I had the privilege of speaking and receiving another award at Adullam’s Northwest Excellence and Inclusion Event, and honestly, I left feeling just as inspired as I hoped the people listening might have felt.
When I share my story as Talk2BigDan, I always remind people that I’ve not had an easy ride. I’ve been at rock bottom, I’ve made mistakes, and I know how hard life can hit. But I also know that with the right support, determination, and a bit of belief, life can change. That’s the message I wanted to bring to everybody. It wasn’t about standing up there as someone who’s “made it” — It was about showing that if I can go from rock bottom to speaking at events like this, working with celebrities and even appearing on TV and in Hollywood films then others can find their way forward too.
There were plenty of laughs as well — I never want these talks to feel heavy or formal. If you know me, you know I like to throw in a joke or two and that’s because sometimes laughter is just as powerful as anything else when it comes to creating hope.
What struck me most today was the sense of community in that room. Everyone has a story, everyone has struggles, and yet, everyone also has the potential to keep moving forward. Adullam Homes aren’t just a roof over people’s heads — they are a place where support, encouragement, and new beginnings can happen.
I want to thank everyone who came to listen, who shared their own thoughts and stories with me afterwards, and the staff who work so hard to make a difference.
It was a good day; a hopeful day. And a reminder that no matter where you are right now, your story isn’t finished yet.

Wow – What an Incredible Day at Stafford Showground
It was an honour to be invited to speak for Adullam Homes Housing Association and receive my award for all the amazing work I do with so many people in the Staffordshire and northeast regions with Alcohol & drug addiction problems I work very closely with vulnerable individuals and families with housing, training, and opportunities to build stable lives. I loved sharing my story, connecting with so many people, and hopefully leaving a message of hope and encouragement: no matter what challenges you face, change is possible Massive respect to the Adullam team for the difference they’re making every single day our close working partnership aims to help as many people who are struggling with Alcohol & addiction problems giving them support treatment and recovery help.
