Talking About Alcohol, Cocaine, Ketamine and Cannabis Dependency Problems. Raising Awareness of Anti-Social Behaviour and Drug Use
This week at Bolton Bridges residents have taken part in discussions around Anti-Social Behaviour.
A new garden and BBQ area has been opened at Chorley Old Road and Dan from Talk2BigDan helped to facilitate conversations with residents about how the garden would be used. A BBQ party was held and was a great success. Residents had previously attended events at our Muamba House hostel and had requested if an area could be used in the garden for similar style events.
At Muamba House residents who had previously worked as chefs helped to cook the food for the BBQ event and again Dan led conversations based on the theme for the week.
Residents also discussed the “good neighbour agreement” and made suggestions for changes. These changes will be discussed with the leadership team and once residents and staff have agreed to the changes the new agreements will be signed by a representative from each hostel.
The ASB app was discussed as residents had received text messages regarding it and staff also attended training. Leaflets are being distributed to help and support residents report Anti-Social behaviour and to get a better understanding of what it is.
